    music noise

Had an amazing stay at Ajisai Onsen! The private onsens offered such a tranquil experience, and our room was spacious with comfy futons. The location was super convenient, just a short walk from the bus stop. Just a heads up, we could hear some music from the dining area at night, but it wasn't a huge issue.

Can't recommend highly enough for a city holiday

Serene experience, beautiful surroundings, with exceptional amenities like wi-fi and air conditioning, created a perfect getaway after bustling days in Tokyo and conveniently located just a short walk from the nearest train station.

    Everything was spot on.

The stay at Ajisai Onsen Ryokan was remarkable. The private onsen experience was unforgettable, with three onsen options and each session allowing 50 minutes of relaxation. The staff's kindness and helpfulness stood out, particularly in accommodating our needs and ensuring a smooth check-in process. The Japanese-style room provided a serene atmosphere, enhancing the overall tranquil experience.

Accessing the ryokan involves stairs, which may be challenging for those with heavy luggage.

    A wonderfully relaxing retreat

From the moment we arrived, the staff at Ajisai Onsen welcomed us with warm smiles, making our first ryokan experience unforgettable. The private onsens provided the perfect escape, especially the one that felt like a hidden gem in the woods. Every meal was a feast for the senses, beautifully presented and crafted with care. Plus, having fresh-baked croissants at breakfast made each morning feel like a special treat!

    relaxing onsen
    helpful staff
    isolated location
    room layout
    absent shower

Experiencing the various onsens was the highlight, especially unwinding at the end of each day. The staff's friendliness made a difference, even accommodating my vegan diet with excellent meal options. The breakfast featured lovely vegetarian dishes, and although there was no shower in our room, it was easy to reserve a private onsen for a refreshing wash in the morning. Accessibility could be challenging, as the location feels a bit isolated without a car, and the room layout could be improved for convenience.

    steep hike

Private onsens were a dream. super clean and fantastic setup. The deluxe suite was spacious for our clan, and the surrounding area was just stunning!

But dear me, what’s with the uphill trek? I nearly needed a Sherpa just to make it back after dinner!
